QuikDeck on an offshore platform

Suspended scaffolding on a Shell platform, executed for SkyAccess. A modular work platform for technical operations beneath the structure.

Project Execution

Work performed directly
on-site.

For the company SkyAccess B.V., we installed a Quik Deck suspended scaffolding system on an offshore platform in the North Sea owned by Shell. The QuikDeck system offers the advantage of allowing work to be performed safely on an open, modular platform. Utilizing basic components and flexible connection elements, QuikDeck can be adapted to fit and configured into virtually any shape or size.

Thanks to the rapid handling and assembly of the system, we were able to construct a suspended scaffold on a 75m long by 10m wide connecting bridge (for Fler) in less than 4 days. The bridge, which led from the platform, required cleaning, repairs, and painting. Following the success of this project, we constructed another suspended platform on a second structure, also to facilitate structural repairs.
