QuikDeck used during bridge renovation

Suspended access system for a bridge renovation project, in collaboration with SkyAccess. Preparation of the work area for sandblasting, repairs, and painting.

Project Execution

Work performed directly
on-site.

(Quik Deck System) The first project involving the Quik Deck suspended scaffolding system was carried out onshore in the Netherlands for the company SkyAccess, in the city of Zutphen. The project entailed the renovation and repair of a bridge, which underwent sandblasting and subsequent painting across its entire perimeter. The Quik Deck System was the ideal choice, thanks to its rapid assembly and load-bearing capacity of 350 kg/m².

The bridge measures 80 meters in length and 10 meters in width. The scaffolding was initially set up to cover half the length—an area of 400 m²—to allow for repairs on that section. Afterward, the Quik Deck System was dismantled and reassembled on the other half of the bridge. A team of 12 workers completed the installation of the 400 m² platform beneath the bridge in 72 hours.
