Replacement of piping and flares at MLNG
Dismantling and installation of two piping branches and two new flares at the MLNG refinery. Collaboration with the Dutch company Conbit.
Project Execution
Work performed directly
on-site.
In October 2013, we completed the dismantling and installation of two riser pipes, along with the installation of two new flare tips, at the MLNG refinery in East Malaysia. This was done in cooperation with the Dutch company Conbit. As the facility featured a dual-flare system, one flare stack could be completely dismantled while the other remained in operation. This allowed maintenance activities to be carried out at ground level.
The required scope of work included replacing both flare tips and installing new inclined sections, onto which the new flare tips were mounted. The entire project lasted 5 weeks.
