The GT1 project continues from Rotterdam into the North Sea—specifically within the German sector—where it was installed to facilitate the connection of wind turbines. GT1 represents the first offshore wind farm to be constructed in the German sector, with approximately 80 wind turbines set to be connected to it. Our scope of work involved the progressive installation of various components on the GT1 structure, including stairways, the release of rigging/cables, the installation of helidecks, the attachment of clamps to the support legs, painting, welding, and numerous other tasks.
