Maintenance of a Qatar Gas flare tower
Replacement of a flare tip on a 200-meter-tall tower using winches and pulley systems. Additional modifications to piping and cable routing.

This project involved replacing the flare tip on a 200-meter-tall flare tower. This flare stack was dismantled piece by piece, requiring the removal of nine 42-inch diameter pipe sections using winches and pulleys. In addition to work on the flare tip, the project involved modifications to piping and thermocouples, as well as the replacement of gaskets and bolts.
