Ongoing work on the roof and cladding of the Hoftoren building. Rope access operations on a high-rise office building in the center of The Hague.

Project Execution

Work performed directly
on-site.

Continuation of work on the Hoftoren building in The Hague. The Hoftoren is a 29-story, 141.86-meter-tall building located in The Hague, Netherlands. It is the third-tallest building in the city and the eighth-tallest in the Netherlands.

The building was completed in 2003, which meant the roof required renovation. The roof features a steel structure clad in aluminum panels. We first had to remove all the aluminum panels to gain access to every part of the steel framework.

We removed corroded sections from the structure and applied a new protective coating. The coating was applied in four layers to ensure sufficient thickness for protection. The total area of the roof structure covers 3,500 square meters.

Once the repainting was complete, we reinstalled the aluminum panels. The rope access work was carried out by SkyAccess B.V.
