Replacement of two burners using a modular A-Frame structure, in collaboration with Suprotech. A solution for working at heights in confined spaces.

Replacing flare tips requires working at great heights within confined spaces. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to devise the safest and most efficient replacement method and equipment. An A-Frame is a specially designed crane structure that can be deployed on various types of flare platforms, such as those found on offshore platforms and FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) vessels.
Consequently, there is no need for additional cranes or helicopters. The entire structure is assembled piece-by-piece—much like a Lego set—without the requirement for an external crane. We replaced these 2 burners in South America for the company https://suprotech.nl/
